@Kagekokoro Basically these and out politicians (many southamerican esque local crimelords) are why we're so bad.

It's more so that bad actors have infiltrated an exceptionally poor system and made it that you get fucked in the ass if you're honest and get a slap on the wrist for being a piece of shit.

For example you have to bribe to get a drivings license or else they'd find this or that and force you to repeat the test a billion times.

So inevitibly most folk end up giving bribes furthering that cycle.

You'd hear many cases of new civil servants forced to take bribes or get fucked over for disobeying the corrupt shits in charge.

Anyway this is what happens when you try to try to run an even messier version of european socialism states with british beurocracy on a dirt poor country with a bunch of unresolved conflicts and one which hasn't gone through the processes which led to a democratic state.
