@xaetacore rimworld is fine nowadays, did a bunch of optimizations for iirc 1.6.
I can play at max speed with almost a hundred pawns and normal speed is only inachievable with thousands.
Only the rain is still insanely inefficient for some reason

@snacks@netzsphaere.xyz but yeah u need overkill hw to play stellaris and rinworld without lag and that says a ton about the games lack of performance unfortunately

@xaetacore itcs not crazy well optimized, but simulating this much stuff always tends to eat cpu like crazy

@snacks@netzsphaere.xyz Ran a few mods like the stacks mod from altered carb on, rimfeller and a few other nothing huge, it would run fine in the beginning but eventually it would slow down perhaps with the latest kernel it would run better, GPU drivers got really good on lnx
