@coolbean @chjara i literally couldnt give less fuarrrks about exoplanets im sorry i know therez lots of people that work on em and find them super interesting but its kinda rlly not astrophysics . in astrophysics we call them “dust” . thats how much they matter

@chjara @coolbean i do think theyre MUCH more interesting on a geological / atmospheric / biological level than on an astrophysical one . they pretty much dont matter for us in any way

@chjara @coolbean likr yea most of them do its just . idk its such a small amount of mass overall , that you end up not really caring . my galaxy formation and evolution textbook mentions planets and rocks a grand total of 0 times

some are rlly interested in tjis tho which fsir enough ! i just kinda am not
