@cell They will all be gone obviously. You don’t “own” your games on Steam.

@cell also, depends on the game, some are distributed without any drm or use their own instead of steams

@cell@shitposter.world

They've said they will release all keys or something

Either way I will remain unaffected in any real sense

@cell This is why I have several TB of ultracompressed installers for all the games I care about, and the corresponding cracks.

@nerthos games from the 90s and 2000s doesn't need terabytes, only hundreds of gigabytes for a complete collection and sometimes have MORE fun than modern slop (or maybe that's nostalgia talking)

@cell I have plenty of old games. That doesn't mean I don't also have new games. There are plenty of good and plenty of shit games in every era.
Plus even if I absolutely love a game, not being autistic, I want to play something else once I've finished it completely.

@cell Goldberg (or whatever applies) & hoarding. What already happens when content gets delisted from to the public on the internet. No different than any other service on (none console) hardware. pepeShrug

This nothing new. If you are on consoles then you should never count on your content being there unless there is a homebrew/piracy community behind it. Waiting
