@snacks but also like, it is legitimately strange that beos ISNT a unix-like. like its from the pre-itanium unix golden age, everyone was making a unix back then. its weird that they made their os mostly in-house without following that sort of mould

also haiku just seemed really unixy when i used it (aside from being gui-only. which is called being based)
