@ceo_of_monoeye_dating captain marvel is a character made to make joining the Air Force seem girl boss and epic. Captain America 2 is about how gov surveillance is actually awesome as long as cartoon Nazis don’t steal it.

The newest captain ameirca movie is about how you can’t judge a president (read country) based on a few bad actions when the actions are kidnapping and torturing people in black sites so you can make a human super computer to manipulate geo political events for you.

The avengers movies suffer from being based on Mark Millar’s ultimates but they strip out the political satire to make everyone likable so the movies end up implicitly defending the fedvengers meanwhile the ultimates was about holding up a mirror to US forgein policy and the media manipulation by the military.

They flatten nearly every comic character and idea so it fits cleanly in the typical pentagon approved block buster.

Conservative propaganda is prob the wrong term since it’s just generic pro us empire propaganda and actively shits on the comics.

@KaiserKitty I half understand now. I think that if I actually forced myself to sit through one of these gay movies I would understand better but I am an actual human and will not ever be giving money to Hollywood on purpose.
