@snacks just for clarity sake; its specified as FOOD linseed oil, and not wood finish or unspecified linseed oil?
linseed is more commonly used for wood finish than for food afaik (t. uses it for woodfinish). non-food linseed oil is usually not foodsafe

@lebronjames75 also, seems in germany even linseed oil for treating wood is food grade, just boiled beforehand so it's prob all rancid
