@meso the "culture war" has been a distraction target for stupids forever and the even faker "gender war" has gotten popular on social media recently because it's an easy way to put stupid people against each other for shit that no one in their right mind should care about

not a distraction, a form of elite class war itself. Just because it's a distraction doesn't mean it didn't do real damage, you need some kind of reactionary corrective to it, preferably from mass workers movements. When the chuds/rightoids are done building their woke right managerial avantgarde to continue where woke 1.0 left off, you'll need a popular progressive corrective. Cultural issues are the only area of politics where centrism is actually reasonable, you don't want total progressive globohomo but also no chud sharia as well
