@coolbean there's still leads on the bios chip on my t420. Idk if i'll ever bother to coreboot it tho

@snacks you can also just... change the boot logo without coreboot. thats how i did it the x270 still hasnt been added to coreboot

@snacks pull request exists by now tho. still got a couple things to work through. mostly trivial nitpicks like using the wrong indentation style in one place

@coolbean i wanna do the dumb thing where you don't have a bios or even grub and just use linux as the payload

@snacks you can literally just mount the firmware update image (mine was outdated, if yours isnt you gotta disable a bios setting that prevents you from installing your current or previous bios versions. at least for the x270, that may be different for older ones) drop the picture in at BOOT/BOOT.JPG or smth like that and then update the firmware its trivial i did it as a little side project on a friday evening
