My bsb is still the only really good oled i've owned so far, the monitor has the usual issues with low brightness non-uniformity

@mischievoustomato on phones esp i don't want oled anymore. All the ones i've had had burn in and a yellow tint after a few years

@snacks @mischievoustomato the oled screen on the zenbook seems p good. perfect uniformity, factory calibrated (display p3), 120 Hz

it’s also one of the modern ones with multiple layers i think? should last for a p long time. max SDR brightness is capped at 50% of HDR peak for longevity i guess, but that’s still 500 nits iirc which is p damn bright for a laptop display

@mia @snacks great to hear. I couldve gotten a vivobook with an oled screen but i wasnt feeling sure of it

@mia @mischievoustomato maybe it's the newer generation of woled, mine is from the one before that. It is kinda sad we can't use all the amazing lithography based panels like microled or microoled for anything larger than a watch or vr headset screen

kinda neat when i’m editing photos in darktable and i realize i had debris all over the sensor. just tap on all the spots real quick
