wish I could live in a small hut in the woods, no taxes, no government, sometimes I can give a fancy trinket to a weary traveler, sometimes they end up in my soup.. girl can dream

@mia you prob have to pay taxes for houseboats as well in most situations. Unless you're rich enough for one that can stay at high seas most time

@snacks Only way to not rent in the "land of the free" is to live nomadically on federal land in an uninsured and paid off RV or caravan, moving every two weeks

@mia @snacks every time you enter a port, no matter how small, you need to pay fees. Also, fuel is expensive these days.
