Apparently it's also not using the keyfiles managed by the keyring package anymore, great

Not confusing at all when you can verify signatures with your installed keys but apt can't despite no apparent overrides. No clue how that happened

@snacks Don't question the Debian™ way.

@phnt the worst part is that the moment a problem is resolved i become too lazy again to distrohop

@coolbean @phnt i'd use musl for statically linking my own stuff

@snacks @phnt openbsd has such a nice wireguard stack. i really wish it had a rump-kernel like thing so one could use it with microkernels

@coolbean @phnt idk about openbsd but netbsd has wireguard in the base install so i'd assume theirs is decent too

@snacks @coolbean OpenBSD has wg built into the base install and configured via ifconfig in a very weird way.
http://man.openbsd.org/ifconfig#WIREGUARD

@phnt @coolbean @snacks its good now that everything works. i just wish you could do relayd and httpd without having to write a forwarding thing for every single httpd thing you make

@coolbean @phnt @snacks I was skeptical because of Rust and the cryptocurrency features but the Dev is cool and people actually actively maintain it because it isn't enterprise mentality piece of shit unmaintainable bloatware like pleroma is

@meso @coolbean @phnt @snacks
Rust worst feature is its cargo (and its evangelical userbase)

@demha @coolbean @snacks @meso Their userbase is essentialy JS webshit devs turned low-level "programmers". Everything has 800 reverse dependencies and build artifacts in gigabytes for a simple RSS reader or CLI utility. The language may be memory safe, but its usage is definitely not supply chain safe.

@phnt @coolbean @snacks @meso makes sense since it was a mawzillla guy who started it

@demha @phnt @snacks @meso a mozilla guy that wanted ocaml without garbage collection which was definitely a take

@coolbean @demha @snacks @meso And somehow missed the mark and created C++ with some ocaml sprinkled in.

@snacks @coolbean @phnt it's enough to figure out whether it's good or not
