Whenever I engage with my hobbies in a community setting the one thing that is always very apparent to me is the demographics. The vast majority of people at the events I attend are over 50, if not 60.

I do worry about the future of these things I enjoy as the younger generations seem thoroughly uninterested in them.

Part of the incentive for that with these were that they were often built on the lords' estates and of course you would want to build nice accommodation and communities upon your own land because not only does it majorly increase its value and serve as an example (and competition point) to other lords, but it's much more pleasant to look at.

You're correct that modern, soulless multinationals with no strong individual leadership wouldn't provide these, but a more classical style of business and commerce could. It frustrates me to no end when I see suicidal people kill themselves without killing people who are responsible for putting them into that mental state in the first place.
