i honestly dont think i was made for co-habitation

like when im home alone for a few days chores are so easy because everything is exactly where i leave it and theres no distractions. its so nice i feel so free. then my family comes home and suddenly im back to struggling because nothing is as i leave it after a few hours

the problem is mostly food tbh. i dont have high standards for myself and also i hate making more complicated meals because i always find myself missing some ingredient and then i cant run to the store to grab it cause its like a 7-8km hike away

also i just absolutely loathe handling dirty dishes. i do not like putting them in the dishwasher. i have no qualms taking them out but putting them in? not great. dont like the feeling of dried sauce or whatever.

also moldy food. hate that. i dont eat sliced bread anymore because one time we had a fly infestation and i found maggots in a bag of sliced bread

No clue how normies can stand it, i'm always super careful not to toich it but they don't care if it gets literally everywhere, idgi. Also parents are jsut stacking dirty dishes and knives in the sink for no apparent reason nowadays and at that point i'm just like. I'm gonna flush everything on them down the drain with minimal interaction, idgaf if the drain ends up clogging some day, don't fill the sink with compost if you don't want that

@snacks yea the way the kitchen sink gets treated is really weird and gross to me too

the dishwasher is nice but dishwasher maintenance is a bitch

@coolbean they're like "i'm letting it soak so it's easier to clean" when everything already comes off instantly
