@mischievoustomato @meso but it doesn’t exist as a non pornbrained concept and so there’s no answer he can give other than “both/neither”

@arcana @mischievoustomato @meso the term "side" is good here I think, for when you really don't care about topping or bottoming and like everything else

@arcana @meso @mischievoustomato we are aggressive creatures especially when it comes to possessions and offspring. If you are thinking of gay top bottom they are just playing the female and male energy. Males have female and women have male energy. What homosexual do is it naturally occurs that one chooses the female energy which by nature is submissive or receiving which is more appropriate

@mischievoustomato @Diceynes @arcana "yep" dawg you have never talked to a woman and think fucking a hooker is gonna feel good when you can just do that with your hand lmao no amount of money will buy you being loved you need to work on yourself to get that

@scathach @Diceynes @arcana @meso @mischievoustomato
Not necessarily. Not everyone has the inclination for that sort of thing and that's fine. Plus you gotta have an emotionally available personality for a relationship to work and some people just don't have that, often as a result of trauma or even just the culmination of their development.

Well if he is sad about it, telling him to fix himself isn't gonna do anything. A lot of positive reinforcement is needed to reverse his self-abandoning tendencies. And even then, he needs an avenue of meeting people in real life, good luck finding that these days if you're not interested in normie activities.

Getting into a relationship happens by accident for a lot of people, i.e. by meeting someone through someone else or just by being in a wide enough circle of people. Don't let all the incel doom and gloom bullshit on the internet fool you. As long as you can vibe with other people, someone will like you. Finding people you vibe with IRL is the hard part, not getting someone to fall in love with you, because that's something that you can never really influence, it happens on its own.

@VIPPER @arcana @meso @mischievoustomato @scathach pretty sure in many western countries, I know in Norway everyone uses tinder to find a partner. It's transactional swiping and later you meet someone and may or not like the person. But I would think in countries like Peru it have more social culture just like here in Southern Europe

@Diceynes @arcana @meso @mischievoustomato @scathach Damn, no wonder all the zoomers in the West are depressed. Dating apps are a really unnatural way to meet people. There's no spontaneity to it, no social proof to gauge if the other person is trustworthy either.

@VIPPER @arcana @meso @mischievoustomato @scathach you can be lucky or not. Usually you will have to meet about 50-60 people to find the right. Just talking from what I heard from others that has gone on to have children etc after meeting on tinder

@arcana @meso @mischievoustomato @scathach @VIPPER Usually luck is try and fail. The billionaire got rich by try and fail often with good starting point by having family money. They just got lucky by some series of random events coinciding and then goes on about their superior morale and work ethics like the boomers

@Diceynes @meso @mischievoustomato @scathach @VIPPER I’m talking about people like Garry Tan and others. It was much easier in the past in some ways, and especially in Europe it’s incredibly difficult, I have been explicitly told by investors “you’re in the wrong country”

@arcana @meso @mischievoustomato @scathach @VIPPER another thing is the amount of people who tried to become rich with the amount that actually got rich. I would say 2 -3% actually makes it. Same with poker, some are extremely good top 5%, but the rest funds the good ones with their life savings

@Diceynes @meso @mischievoustomato @scathach @VIPPER the ones who succeed and the ones who fail, it’s something that you can actually assess and see why. It’s not random

@Diceynes @meso @mischievoustomato @scathach @VIPPER the vast majority of millionaires don’t choose to continue on. Billionaires become that way by continuing to actively invest. The vast majority of millionaires don’t care for that and just have their wealth held in lower risk managed investments

It’s basically a form of retirement
1

@Diceynes @meso @mischievoustomato @scathach @VIPPER it’s genuinely a choice, the vast majority of millionaires don’t care to actively grow their assets to that level but they could if they tried. Money makes money. It’s not complicated. Billionaires are billionaires due to massive amounts of ownership and buying appreciating assets. Most millionaires don’t care to do all that and just stop at a certain point and put it into managed funds.

@arcana @meso @mischievoustomato @scathach @VIPPER millionaires love money. They want more of it. Of the 6.6 percent millionaires in US 3000 are billionaires in the entire world, 756 billionaires in US. seem very unlikely to become either a billionaire or millionaire in US. There are 8 billion people in world. Less than 0,66/10 chance of becoming millionaire in US. I doubt someone working at Walmart have any chance at all since I would estimate of the 6,6 percent millionaires in US 60% is probably inherited
1

@arcana @meso @mischievoustomato @scathach @VIPPER can you explain how someone working a normal blue collar job in US can become a millionaire coming from a lower middle class family when there are only 6,6 percent millionaires in US and probably the vast majority have inherited property etc. Less of 0,66/10 are millionaires. I think you are a little disconnected from reality to be honest

@Diceynes @meso @mischievoustomato @scathach @VIPPER we were talking about millionaires becoming billionaires.

Ultimately it’s a mindset thing. Most people do not have that mindset. As for a lower middle class person on a blue collar job. Firstly, quit your job, go to somewhere that has people in the industry you plan to disrupt or build a business, with the small amount of savings you have ensure to tidy yourself up and dress well, start networking. Speak to people whose skills complement your own and start formulating your plan based on one of your ideas. Never stop communicating and networking with people. Do favors for people, win them over with wit.

@arcana @meso @mischievoustomato @scathach @VIPPER this is crazy talk if you quit your job you can't pay mortage or bills and will end up on street. Something tells me you are rich

@Diceynes @meso @mischievoustomato @scathach @VIPPER if you have a mortgage, that means you have a property you can sell.

People talk about how these billionaires benefitted from money when they were younger but much of the time these amounts are only the value of a basic house.

You don’t become a millionaire by working a job with a mortgage. Sell the house, and quit the job. There you go, you now have free time and the same amount of assets that a bunch of millionaires started out with.

>After graduating from high school, Jacklyn worked as a secretary, earning $190 a month, and left her parents' home to rent an apartment, living with Jeff. She worked at day and attended night school in the evenings, taking Jeff to the classes.[2]
>Jacklyn met Cuban refugee[2] Miguel Bezos at night school, later marrying him.[5] Miguel Bezos, with Jorgensen's support, adopted Jeff.[8] Jacklyn and Miguel Bezos relocated bringing Jeff with them and asked Jorgensen to discontinue contact, to which he agreed,[8] relinquishing custody.[9] The three moved to Houston, Texas.[5]
>Twenty years after starting, Jacklyn graduated from Saint Elizabeth College at the age of 40.[2]
>In 1995, Jacklyn and Miguel loaned Jeff US$245,573 to start Amazon.com,[11] giving them both 6% equity.[12] Later they relocated to Florida.[5]

>In 1994, Jeff held 60 meetings with family members, friends and prospective investors to get them to each invest around $50,000 apiece in Amazon and help him raise $1 million. Only 20 said yes, a group which included his parents.

This is genuinely just networking and the parents saving up money over the years. If you’ve got a house, you can get a couple of hundred k in start up capital.
