@Sui @Chzikken_1486 it was not banned but the rejection of the film industry age rating means it's unrated. As an unrated movie it could very much be banned but that hasn't happened yet. Unrated movies cannot be shown in conventional movie theaters (you could show it in a non-public screening by checking every ID upon entering and also not name the film in advertisement of the screening theoretically).
So it's more a problem of the semi-private age rating board acting upon ideological inclinations but this does have legal consequences as this private institution (FSK) is legally recognized by the state and law.
A real ban by the state directly would be "Beschlagnahmt", meaning "list of seized media"
