that's only natural, but it's about removing the filter. in my book case there are tons of very interesting books that reflect on my personality. on the one I want to display outwardly. bookmarks are a much more intimate look at a person. if they don't censor themselves in creating the bookmarks in the first place - e.g. it being a shared PC or them compartmentalizing their personality / interests.

Sidebery has a button to fetch favicons and gives you a list of bookmarks which it couldn't do it for — if there is no bookmark or it's something weird, I know that it must be dead 🤷

@kaia My bookmarks are fairly tame aside from the long list of unsorted bookmarks that aren’t in the correct folders.

The pixabay and wallpaper cave bookmarks were me trying to find a cool abstract/liminal space wallpaper (my search didn’t give me exactly what I wanted but I found some cool stuff nonetheless).

i mean i also avoid having a calendar for similar reasons.
adding stuff is much more bothersome than just remembering stuff. especially since i keep stuff in my brain even if i put them on todo list
