@methyltheobromine something like a corset also exists as "shapewear" in elastic materials. dunno how well it'll work for your application, but maybe check "shapewear" on Amazon or somewhere.

i did consider shapewear or waisttrainers but tbh my waist is not something to focus on.

how long is your hair right now? any plans to style it?
not knowing your face, I'd say you can do almost nothing wrong with Taylor Swift / icky haircut. it works in short, long and is versatile.
