some of you people might have noticed that most politics posting is conspicuously absent from this account. well, with the upcoming election i have chosen to remedy this and you guys will see why i have kept this stuff to myself because most of you will get butthurt reading this but idc i have had enough of the dogshit political takes on my tl. instead of crying about the shit you guys usually do, try calling your representatives and request any of these policies, if even half of these would be implemented, the US would be fixed ez:
- there should be cuts to government funding, specifically to states and cities who plan to use the money to repair roads and high ways
- drunk driving should be allowed for anyone driving 18 wheelers
- the fed should do more quantitative easing, lets do 40 trillion in bonds this time fuck it
- gas prices should be raised by 59%
- primary and secondary education should happen WAY later, maybe when youre like 65, kids should go to the hard schools (uni and college) while their mind is still sharp and them work
- when i see footage of beijing or wuhan with their smogged up skies all i can think of is “why is china outcompeting us? this should be what rural alabama looks like" increase green house gases now!
- we should take not of the french law mandating a certain number of french movies in cinema and implement it ourselves but instead of the quota being for american movies it should be for video game adaptation movies
- gooning should be added to the olympics
- during security checks at airports you shouldnt only have to take your shoes off but your socks too and they should remain off until you exit the destination airport
