I can't figure out how to photograph the rising air over the stove, doesn't even seem to be a motion thing, it's basically invisible in the viewfinder as well. Tried focusing the where the hot air is, on the background, with f/16 for everything in focus, long and short exposures

Also, starting to think the new lems is way more efficient than the other one. Ig all that weight goes into more than just giant aperture

@snacks never thought about it but i guess you can’t focus it directly because it’s a volume of gas that refracts light? think you’d have to focus something else with a larger aperture to make it visible

@mia seems to be an issue of exposure time and that it's more apparent in motion. This was the best i got and that was with 1/4000 (look at the pillar, it's very warped)

@mia also way more visible with bright backgrounds
