Can you still use cast iron on those? They seem easier to clean but I do like my pan, I'd be worried about scratches.

@Tsuki @lucy I use a cast iron pan on mine yeah. Its got some scratches sure but stainless steel pots can scratch it too so its whatever.

@arcana @vriska @prettygood induction is like the 2nd best thing only 2nd to gas it beats regular electrical stoves anytime imo

@lucy @prettygood i made waffles with an actual waffle iron (as in cast iron) on an induction stove too

wouldn’t do that on electric because a) heat transfer is ass and b) it gets messy unless you have a lot of practice because the thing is made for open fires and you’re gonna be scraping burnt batter off the stovetop…

@lucy @arcana @vriska see glass top is my preferred, but those exposed coil looking electric stoves are literally worse than nothing, I'd rather microwave a steak than use those things.
