and yea let it dry for longer. odds are there was still water trapped in the clay. come to think of it the clay may have also been too thick to dry effectively so keep that in mind

@snacks @whirly also little tip but once its about the consistency of leather you can take thin wire or a blade and use that to smoothen and thin it out a little. the scraps can be reused just gotta let em soak in water
