My newfound suppressor autism has narrowed my bolt action rifle search from "anything quality with a wood stock, iron sights, and threaded barrel" (of which one rifle exists) down to that but available in 8.6 blackout, of which exactly zero rifles exist unless I got a barrel custom made

@scathach I was so looking forward to suppressing my RDB, 10/22 and 19X.

@awl I have a suppressor on my 10/22 and it's stupidly fun, highly recommend

@scathach I will probably go with that first but the RDB is so tempting to mess around with. I don’t think I’ve enjoyed a rifle this much right off the bat.

@scathach yeah. Surprisingly very reliable it’s done over 1k without a single hitch in like 4 months (pretty quick schedule for me), despite feeling so damned cheap

@scathach apparently hand-tapping is a nogo for suppressors 🥀

@scathach yeah, apparently it's pretty easy to get bad enough alignment

Yooo wait someone makes an 8.6 blackout barrel for the Savage 110

No irons on it but ehh at least there are some factory barrels with irons and threads

They completely discontinued factory wood stocks though, the modern broccoli hair gun market has utterly rancid taste
