@akai It's really just a very basic fast-food burger. If you think "almost as good as Wendy's but way better than Carl's Jr" then you're about there.

@p how do you scale your fast-food burgers? if you can give me that scale, gives me a better picture

@p yeah honestly, i dont even consider mcdonalds to be burgers at this point. and sonic is terrible too. I grew to enjoy wendy's a lot more as i got older, so my list is similar to this. i like a lot of stuff at burger king like chicken fries not rly the burgers tho. never had fatburger or in-n-out. im not as eager to fuck with whataburger or in-n-out if you say wendy's is better than it. i'll still try em if i get the chance, but to avoid disappointment ill just say not to expect much

> and sonic is terrible too.

I think they take their deliveries from Sysco.

> never had fatburger

It is patrician-tier burger.

> or in-n-out.

It's okay, but there's a line all the way around the block for a basically tolerable burger.

@p looks delicious.

NY has a place called shake shack, that expanded in the last 10 years, which i still haven't tried. people say it crushes a lot of burger places here (we do not have carl's jr, whataburger, in-n-out, fatburger). not sure though, it looks to me like an A&W place or something? (ever have that?) to me, A&W isn't bad but it is overpriced. also: there's a place in the PNW called burgerville, and they are VERY good.

> NY has a place called shake shack

Been there; it's nothing astonishing. I'd put it near Whataburger.

> it looks to me like an A&W place or something? (ever have that?)

I recall being astonished as a child that the root beer owned a burger stand, but I don't remember ever going there.

> there's a place in the PNW called burgerville, and they are VERY good.

It's really important if you live in a rain to have some decent food to make up for it.

@p @akai nothing inherently wrong with taking deliveries from sysco. they have a massive array of products- lots of real high level restaurants buy their expensive premium stuff. it's the crappy dime a dozen restaurants that buy the dog food grade stuff and try to pass it off for cheap

@Paultron @p @akai I worked a food show for Ben E Keith a couple years ago and damn I was eating good that day. Got to take home 40lbs of bacon and a bunch of prime steaks. Also got 4 gallons of bbq sauce that I don't even like

@akai @p real. if you have money sysco has great stuff. most people don't have money or don't care to serve anything decent

@p @akai in-n-out has a better tasting burger than whataburger. At least in Texas. Also in-n-out uses beef tallow, not vegetable oil

@Simpadoo @akai

> At least in Texas.

Unfair comparison: all the burgers are better there. Even Dairy Queen tastes better there.

> Also in-n-out uses beef tallow, not vegetable oil

Yeah, but the fries suck.

Oh, also Five Guys, I should have put them up in the S-tier.

@Nudhul @akai I'm skeptical that there's a better fast-food burger than Fatburger.

Disagree: have tried them in both states. I don’t eat fries now so I defer to you on that.

@p @akai Even Mass has good burger joints but they are off the beaten path and don’t advertise.

@Simpadoo @akai Well, good burger places are a different category from fast-food chains.

@p @shadowferret @akai McDonald’s single handedly saved me from being underweight now and has helped me build like 15 lb of muscle in the last 2 or so months.

@pernia @akai @koimoa I meant the burgers. I have no comment on banging five guys to get good reviews on your game except this:
