@cell you're definetly at diminishing returns there. You'd prob need a quiet room and ideally a really well mastered song you're already familiar with to appreciate those small improvements over any decent headphone

okay, an hour in and i'm beginning to understand the value of the 400 dollar earphone
but it's really expensive and i don't have the money for such a thing right now acat_deranged
but the earphone shop people are nice enough to give me a new case for my current earphones for free neocat_heart

but if you're talking about MP3s older than that sure meowheadphones

someone did a study with audiophiles. had a setup with 1000$ wire and another used mud. they couldnt tell the difference.

dont buy audiophile marketed gear, its usually a scam
