@coolbean most bows nowadays are recurves but way too big for that. Horsebows are getting popular tho

@coolbean more like asian archery i think, which had a lot of horseback archery. But yumi or manchu bows aren't the greates bows for horseback archery and still traditionally used with thumb draw.
Overall archery is usually something where you can do weird shit and will still get accepted outside of olympic recurve clubs, if you do thumb draw at a 3d parcours everyone will prob think it's cool af

@snacks aiming with it is a little odd cause you have the arrow on the right side of the bow (so your index finger can press it to the bow)

@coolbean nah, that's not it. Our release and everything is really fucked up, the arrow ends up flying sideways and barely sticking too

maybe try a thumb ring, that should have a little less friction and clean up the release but really that sort of issue is something i only know from mediterranean draw
