while (particularly ignorant and bound) living beings can be called parts of God, I dont believe souls are "portions" of a different divine oversoul. thats like saying God is a body composed of all the souls, which is imo pantheist not panentheist. and how can any partial thing come out of pure infinite self-fulfilled fullness? likewise I dont believe that souls are any different from one another in their svabhava, just in their samskaras vasanas and karma (which are interrelated ofc). ofc God can do anything so He can limit himself in portions if He wishes, but those are the devas and men called his amsas and also I would say that describes reality under maya itself, which seems like a limited thing but in actuality is pure infinite consciousness. so basically, God is so limitless He defies limiting while encompassing it if He wishes. and God is inconceivably one and non-dual.
