the vedantic monists say Brahman is passive, the tantric monists say Siva is active... but both passive and active imply duality! there is only Chit! this is why its best to just say God is non-dual and free. free means both free to and free from, which is the potency of dynamism and the detachment of passivity, which is also to say, God is both the ultimate agent and enjoyer and blissfully apart...
