@ikeWren tone tags are fine tbh. I use a couple myself. Sometimes people can't tell how serious I'm being about something, believe it or not

@ikeWren I have tried talking in these spaces before and getting to know local trans support groups but idk I don't think they are for me. I'm also a social idiot and a recluse usually so take what I day with a grain of salt. I felt like it was very cliquey in general and I just didn't belong.

@patchuun i think they're overly esoteric to people who aren't extremely online and not at all the best and clearest way of indicating tone . but also there are like 30 listed here which kinda proves my point

@ikeWren the ones I know are /s (the OG), /srs, /j, /lh, /nm, /gen, which is probably more than most people would say are necessary, but all of which have served me well in various contexts (except maybe /srs, that one is kind of redundant, /gen is better)
