@snacks@netzsphaere.xyz Could defo be, if you are not used to freeweight/bodyweight training your hitting muscles you usually dont hit with isolation exercises and machines.

I had this times 10 when i switched from calisthenics to ring calisthenics because those rely alot on those muscles.

Its a good sign(If you have proper nutrition/rest and warmup/cooldown) because it means your muscles are "growing"(muscle micro tears, which will be repaired in rest making the muscle stronger)

@xaetacore i had issues with constantly sore lats from really bad form during curls before. Idk why i'm constantly engaging lats in random ass exercises

@snacks@netzsphaere.xyz Bodyweight training is amazing, you should look into calisthenics if you havent its all about that, pushups, pullups, different other movements.
But focus movements hitting your core.

@snacks@netzsphaere.xyz If you have a mirror try training in front of it or record yourself training, only then i started to really understand the mistakes i was making in my form and it really helped me correct them, some things you will only see from a different perspective and not in the heat of training ;)

@xaetacore as i said, i do pushups constantly. Switched pullups for rows during winter because the pullup bar is outside

@snacks@netzsphaere.xyz How often do you train a week and how much rest do you take?

@snacks@netzsphaere.xyz I would make sure to train each muscle no more than three days a week to ensure proper rest, everyone heals at a different pace and overdoing it actually causes more damage than good.

Made that mistake a few years ago my right knee is still fucked.
