Great, I think I damaged my phone - at least the battery, which isn't user servicable - by charging it from my car. Is that possible? I used a USB-C cable (not a great one) in one of those cigarette lighter adapters.

Now it's charging REALLY slowly and it won't seem to hold a charge...

@snacks I'm very wary of that, if it won't charge up again I'm stuck without any phone at all. I don't even have a landline.

I guess I'll take it to a phone shop tomorrow, see what they say...

@snacks Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's the charging circuit that's fucked, not the battery itself.
