@mischievoustomato used thinkpads. Asus are great it was my first personal laptop brand and it worked great and was very seggsy. Don't buy ones with the new logo though it looks ugly

also, i can fit 40gb of ram, 2tb of nvme ssd and also change the wifi chip on this laptop, and it was rather cheap.
