@fiore @SuperDicq ethanol is a liquid so you wouldnt be able to fit in much without it flowing back out and the limited surface area would cause a slow combustion, what you really want is nitrocellulose its a solid so you can stuff as much as will fit and the loose structure gives it tons of surface area for a much hotter faster burn

@fiore Emacs is not a text editor. It is a Lisp interpreter.

@SuperDicq @fiore um actually emacs literally refers to the lisp macros used to edit text they're editing macros

also theres a version of emacs running on guile's elisp implementation at which point emacs wouldnt even contain an interpreter at all (the devs killed it for that reason. cooperation with the guile devs was just asking too much apparently)

@SuperDicq @fiore Oh that's selling it short. It's practically a modern Lisp Machine

@jakob @SuperDicq > make a text editor

@fiore @jakob I know. In the case of Emacs this is mostly a joke though. We just love our bloated text editor.

Now guess who I am talking about:

make a kernel
bloat it
bloat it more
insist it is an operating system
