I find you must persevere, just like a regular book. Usually the first 30 minutes to 5 hours are just fine but eventually it gets it's hooks in you. I dropped Steins;Gate like, thrice, before I finally got into it. Once I did, I powered through the whole thing, then I played it all again like 2 months later.
