waking up is such a trip. it’s similar to odsmt or dxm in that i’m instantly 100% awake the second my eyes open while it’s like 5 am

ig that’s one way to compensate for my shitty sleep hygiene (๑•﹏•)

other than that i can feel the onset of the dreaded zombie mode

@dxm@sk.lavenderfield.xyz mostly fine ig. the thing i hate is that it has an extremely short half life so if you miss a single does you will immediately get very ill

@anemone @dxm ive heard of brain zaps but never got them from cold turkeying Prozac or properly tapering off like three other SSRIs. they sound very bothersome but I can't imagine the sensation.

@georgia @anemone i only ever got them on psychedelics. for me the intense ones are actually audible. they feel and sound like a sudden loud buzz that abruptly spikes my anxiety. it’s a tingling TV static-like feeling in the back of my head. it also makes my eyeballs twitch which is very disorienting

@dxm that is proabably the worst most dangerous antidepressant you can be on. i've seen multiple lives ruined by that stuff.

@meowski yea i’ve seen quite a few stories

i actually asked my doc for bupropion and i’m only taking it because she essentially said that bupropion is too expensive and i had to try venlafaxine first (╥﹏╥)

i will take it for only 6 weeks so i hope it won’t be too bad

@dxm fire your doctor. having a psychotic episode and ending up in a mental hospital or worse isn't going to fix your depression

@meowski probably a good idea. currently this is a “better than nothing” kind of situation ded

@dxm it's definitely worse than nothing. that manic energy you're feeling can trigger psychotic delusions

@meowski i actually know pretty well what psychosis feels like. i’ll take note when my apophenia switches to high gear. but thanks for the heads up (✿^‿^)
