Thought Fleas Emotion Worms

I am inviting my oomfs to read with me in a week. The book has not been decided on yet, but i prefer it to be one of the hundreds i already own.I would like to start with a simpler book like one in fiction. I will be offering some suggestions later today. It will ony be 2 chapters a week.

@Checked trve, also conjugations, you are meant to drill the tables and pronounciation using other resources first, then learn grammar from lingva latina

@Checked all of the above are things I'd want to read
even the analytic philosophy stuff possibly, I've come out of that but maybe there are better thinkers there than those I'd read before

@nigger @Checked
I just used a narration of it from youtube for pronunciation. I don't believe it's reasonable to learn pronouciation from a book; you should listen to it and speak it aloud.

@Maroon @Checked Latin is both easy to speak (being phonetic) and also pointless as its only usage is in reading old texts

@Checked I read about 10 chapters of Familia Romana (and supplements) and I liked it pretty well. I'll probably go back to it if I ever get to Latin

@Checked cry_cirno I remember discovering Loeb in the uni library and then looking at the cost of a full set (I think it was around $15k for all the Greek and Latin)

@wertimer @Checked Why spend 15k when a complete set of books on learning Basque is only 300 dollars?

@wertimer @Checked We'll pay anybody to learn our language. Please learn our language. The Spanish and Moroccans don't want to and we forgot how to procreate.
