sankara says that bhuñjīthā in the isha upanishad is to mean "do save". ie (in my understanding) protect your Self by viewing all as the Self and renouncing the world of matter especially the threefold desire. thus, do not covet. but i view it as more likely "enjoy". by renouncing, enjoy is a delibate "paradox", and that makes the text more beautiful. likewise, i believe God to be an enjoyer, the supreme enjoyer, despite being non-dual enjoyment itself.
