Hindus kinda really do have many a reason to feel ill sentiment towards muslims.

Like the ravaging islamic invasions, and post that, the whole creation of pakistan and with that as the context the relationship now.

Like yeah there were a lot of naunces but still the history is quite one sided to a degree.

And while I promote the nuances, the whitewashing of a lot of that does give me outrage.

Obviously so I feel the invasions and the imperealist rule of these foreign dynasties were utterly devastating and resulted in us being significantly chanfed and the entire histort is significantly whitewashed

@meeper I'm not anti-muslim I like sufism a lot but being both a jew and a hindu I feel the whole "Islamic imperialism is washed from history" thing

@georgia India is the worst sufferer, and while I don't like to imagine that, I feel in any other country upon the creation of pakistan; there would genuinely been an extreme.reaction.

Instead; Non Muslims seem to be the ones utterly disappeared from pakistan.

And How I hate the hindus and muslims are.separate natioms rhetoric - as if it wasn't several hostile invasions (and in the case of nw india) with widespread forced conversion slavery and all

@meeper what's also fucked up to me is how widespread the modern conception of hinduism as some barbaric idolatrous polytheism (with like the jagganath chariot and the aghori sticking out) is when its monism and monotheism predates christianity and now almost every major sect is essentially monotheistic. this bothers me so much because the west has the same patronizing othering attitude towards hinduism that muslims had. perhaps the great irony is how similar sufi practices like dhikr are to hindu/sikh practices.
