regardless of the bullshit politics, The dev isn't purely some reactionary skid and does appear to have some technical reason, so it maybe useful for maybe someone, who is forced/wantsto use xorg for whatever reason

haematophage@fabula.schizophreni.ca@meeper @fiore im loyal to X11 out of extreme sentimentality about the history of computing so if for some reason Xorg stops working and Xlibre were functional and non-slop I would probably begrudgingly switch to it. But I don’t have any issues that would require me to stop using Xorg and I really don’t know what would have to occur for it to stop being usable while Xlibre remains unaffected.
im never using Wayland though you can pry my X core fonts and my X resources and my Motif guis from my cold dead hands
