@lanodan @snacks Personally, I don't even care anymore. What are they going to do, out me as a pervert? Who cares?
To play devil's advocacy for the powers that be, I'd rather use an internet where I can tell who's a real person and who's a shitty AI. I'd also rather use an internet where people can tell who generated what with AI, even if that comes with the dreaded "IRL consequences for online conduct" (which have been around for at least 20 years anyway, don't let anyone fool you.)
It's like the discord thing. I'll be a good boy (I already was, they rolled out the changes in the UK preemptively last head anyway) when using their services, and be a bad boy on Matrix or whatever other janky alternative solution is doing the rounds. Just because I'm willing to log in via Google for this or that doesn't mean I'm not misbehaving on all the usual protocols anyway lol, it's not a big deal for me if I can't discuss my lurid secrets on platforms like discord anyway. (I haven't for a long time, it's a fucking centralised service where admins and feds can read anything you say.)
Tl;dr: I'll play along to a limited level, everyone needs to be good at having filters in obvious public spaces anyway.
