Hot take: Anti-AI stances are fundamentally ableist. I’m aware of the environmental footprint, but that doesn't outweigh the fact that AI enables differently abled people to create. If you care more about a GPU than someone actually having the power to express their ideas, your priorities are skewed.

@condret @root @meso you're fighting a dictionary, not m. obviously individual taste is subjective, but the fact that a vast majority of people find something repulsive is an objective statistical reality. there's a massive difference between 'i don't like this flavor of ice cream' and biological repulsion to someone shitting/pissing in your mouth.
