@technicallydifficult @lizzie @luce-anon @salt I think the story of Adam and eve is rather deep. its a reflection on the unique position of man between animal and God, the blessing and burden of sapience. original sin is like the worst form of karma though.

@scathach @nuukaset interpretation of ahimsa depends on whether youre looking at orthodox hinduism, Jainism, or Buddhism. regarding diet I'm referring to Jain and hindu lacto-vegetarianism. (with cows treated according to vedic practice) but for more about ahimsa in general:
