@jeremiah Theravada Buddhists can't really be called atheists, more like nontheists. and mahayana Buddhists are pretty much polytheists but still believe in the unity of the buddhawomb. even if they do not know it, they are yoked to God, I would say, in effect, for that is what liberation is.

pretty sure God genuinely hates the formula used for "awakening the statue." His Presence is already everywhere, including in the statue. and ishvara cannot be commanded... its not like saying "this is my body" about the host, using Gods own words to reveal his divine immanence especially in regard to the Holiness of sacraments.
