I really think a great part of advaita vedanta is every soul being the same (except for their karma and samskaras). anything less is unfair and doesnt befit the equal vision of a yogi imo

@technicallydifficult @apophis @alienskyler people who think the bubble was literally received from God in its current form like the ten commandments are prone to extremism among other follies

I interpreted the dream as genuinely from God and not from my subconscious in part because I literally never think of the jesus fish that way, though I know of its association. I also found the symbolism too rich to be of me.

I had a kinda gross but very jesusy dream where I had abrasion-like wounds on my body and the missing layers of skin were transplanted by the first layers of skin from a dead fish (while still kind of attached to the fish) that was looking right at me. ive had a lot of religious dreams honestly. I also interpreted the dream to mean I was in sin for eating fish.

many particular afterlives to suit the preferences and merits of souls only makes sense among the (fully, if this qualifier need be said because as far as know there is no partial liberation) liberated if you 1. are not a universalist, believing in eternal lesser states according to some merit 2. believe "individual" atman are essentially different from one another, carrying this difference even when theyve realized themselves or 3. believe that God is unfair (as this book states earlier, these outcomes are not considered equal, all are free of suffering but not all are equally blissful)

why not just kaishmir shaivi mode and say "all merge wholly into brahman in the end"?? it resolves so many problems!
