@subnetter @icedquinn in america theyre white men, in many other countries where jews are less assimilated it rouses suspicion to be so over represented. look I get it. people dont like that jews want to be white when its convenient and a semitic minority when its not. but just like Hispanics are historically european (at very least in part in the case of most south americans) and also POC many jews look/are white and this doesnt erase them being originally indigenous to the levant.

@HatkeshiatorTND not sure why I would have good faith in people who hate jews when you clearly dont have good faith in historically oppressed ethnic minorities. the "harmonious homogenous society" meme is a historiographical invention also. it never existed. life was nasty brutish and short if you werent aristocracy. I'm kinda shocked youre sympathetic to white supremacist ideas, I thought you were a desi for some reason. oh well.

@technicallydifficult none of those things lol. I'm influenced by the structure of strotras but in sanskrit the word order is much freer than english. the concepts in my hymn are very hindu but in this prayer I'm shying away from descriptions of Gods forms and deeds which dominate hindu hymns.

@subnetter @icedquinn when I was a kid I had a bleeding heart leftist friend in my debate group say "jews are just rich white people". the stereotype is prevalent enough in the left that Bernie sanders always calls himself a pole

@HatkeshiatorTND I think its unfair to group christian zionists and philosemites (as if its bad to be philosemitic) with jews tbh. I understand why you ask that question but western jews have had an outsized influence since napolean, and whether you think its negative or positive is highly subjective. its really not dissimilar from some secular jews in weimar germany supporting communism and libertine social values, and that didnt justify their genocide.
