its so easy to differentiate tamil words from sanskrit despite dravidian sanskrit borrowings. it might as well be french and chinese.

and I read like a third of the bhagavata purana (mostly the part about krishna, including the uddhava gita), but also the story of vamana, dhruva, bharata, gajendra, and some others. I should read the other stories of avataras but I'm really not looking forward to the violence of parashurama. theres good in the puranas but so many flaws...
