I really like how he synthesizes the yogacharin mind-only view with dependent origination and the concepts of buddha-nature and the dharmadhatu. of course my belief is that Brahman is pure consciousness and is the self/svabhava AND the all encompassing ultimate reality. I'll check out the sutras you mentioned too! for what most influences me if youre curious check the isha upanishad, the taittiriya upanishad, the tejobindu upanishad (vaishnavite one), and the bhagavad gita ofc. when ive finished my current bout of readings I may have to add to that list... the yoga vasistha seems very promising for instance! oh and I bet you know more about Tibetan buddhism than me, I only know wikipedia level and vaguely about a couple techniques from old PDFs I used to have.
