@cyno @vriska youre right but my point is that women werent lobotomized for merely wanting to wear pants. lobotomies were performed from the 30s to the 60s roughly, women started wearing pants earlier than that. you can just look at media from the 30s, lots of women in pants. this could have been a post about how 60 percent of lobotomies were performed on female "patients" but it wasnt lol.

I mean, youre disregarding what peter said in acts, he said that the Israelite leaders were also ignorant. I dont believe that the chief priests (who weren't pharisees but were probably saducees, I could be wrong though) who paid judas were quite as guilty as he, and i dont think many commentators would argue this, judas was unique in his degree of guilt and of sin, though they were certainly guilty also. judas intimately knew jesus and was treated with divine love by him. he had no excuses.

neither did the sanhedrin. jesus more or less told him he was in the synoptics, but they didnt believe and they werent in the intimate position judas was in to know this. I still think this constitutes ignorance.

@FailurePersonified God literally became a person and literally died for mankind so we might worship him as a suffering servant and so we might know true love and friendship. verses of the old testament which show a cruel God I simply dont believe, I'm not a believer in scriptural innerancy, I believe some scripture has human origin.

@FailurePersonified I disagree about love, look up agape. Gods love isnt less than ours, its much higher.

@FailurePersonified most of my beliefs can be renconciled with different christian traditions actually, though i dont consider myself a christian. I believe jesus is God. I'm just a monist panentheist and I believe in karma and trasmigration of souls and the ultimate liberation of all beings who return to God.
