your evocation of facts of Soviet history is cherry picked. first off you neglect tsarist pogroms, a huge reason for jewish revolutionary attitudes. one must also consider the Bolshevik Menshevik divide among the marxists who opposed the tsar, and that jews favored the mensheviks and were thus purged in large numbers by the bolsheviks, who had a lesser jewish membership, I would need a source more reliable than Putin to say 85 percent of any soviet government consisted of jews, even the first (and why is the first specified? obviously because of later purges). the most important jewish revolutionary Leon Trotsky was purged. there remained important jews in leadership positions before Stalin attempted to purge many of them in the doctors plot, but the people you mention were largely people carrying out a dictators order. I'll repeat that it makes much more sense to call the holodomor a genocide by georgians than it does to call it a jewish genocide, considering stalin had an iron grip on power and policy. again, for those who believe all Soviet crimes were somehow uniquely jewish crimes, look at a list of leaders of the soviet union. none were jewish. look into the doctors plot and the 1968 polish political crisis. jews did not operate in soviet leadership free of antisemitic backlash.

the only point I'll concede is the USS liberty, what ive read is that leaks show Israelis calling the ship egyptian, but theres a lot of unreleased files about this, so I'm not dying on this hill.
