on my 2012 mac I deleted so much bloat (which back then took the form of ishit and media software I never touched) including safari itself (which had the utorrent virus) and it still ran fine. it seems like the spyware is well integrated into macos now though

@izzy they recently fixed the big caveat which is second monitor support. m2s are the best supported so theyre a few years behind.

@izzy ive heard from multiple people that asahi works pretty well now. the hardware support is almost complete.

@izzy thats not remotely silly I wouldnt have bought a macbook in a million years if asahi linux didnt exist and if I werent planning on dual booting
